Terms of Use
These Terms govern your use of the Pakecom marketplace. By creating an account or using the platform you agree to them. This is a product/legal-policy framework, not legal advice.
Account responsibilities
You must provide accurate registration information, keep your credentials secure, and are responsible for activity on your account. One person or business per account unless otherwise agreed.
Buyer responsibilities
Buyers agree to provide accurate order and shipping information, pay for confirmed orders, and use RFQs and disputes in good faith.
Supplier responsibilities
Suppliers must complete verification before publishing, list only legitimate goods, follow the Supplier Code of Conduct, honour accepted orders, and provide accurate shipping information.
Product listings
Listings must be accurate and comply with the Prohibited & Restricted Products policy. Products enter moderation and become public only after approval; Pakecom may reject, suspend, or remove listings.
Payments
Payments are processed by third-party providers (e.g. Stripe, PayPal) under their terms. Pakecom does not store raw card data. Prices and totals shown at checkout are binding once an order is placed.
Orders
A confirmed order is a binding agreement between buyer and supplier. Order status is tracked through the platform from payment to completion.
Refunds
Refunds may be requested for eligible issues and are subject to review. Outcomes may be a full refund, partial refund, or rejection, as described in the Buyer Protection policy.
Disputes
Buyers may open disputes on orders. Pakecom may mediate and issue a resolution, which can include refunds or other remedies.
Intellectual property
Do not infringe others’ IP. Rights holders and users may report suspected infringement; Pakecom reviews reports and may remove content or take enforcement action.
Prohibited activities
Fraud, manipulation of ratings, circumventing fees or protections, listing prohibited items, and any unlawful activity are not permitted and may result in suspension.
Account suspension
Pakecom may warn, suspend, or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or the Code of Conduct, with escalating action for repeated or serious violations.
Platform limitations
Pakecom is a marketplace that connects buyers and suppliers and provides protection tooling; it is not the manufacturer or seller of listed goods.
Liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Pakecom is not liable for the acts or omissions of buyers or suppliers, or for indirect or consequential losses arising from marketplace transactions.
Changes to policies
We may update these Terms and related policies from time to time. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
